ちぢみ技術で限りなく涼しいデニムを生む
この凹凸のある生地は、”クレープ”または”ちぢみ”と呼ばれる、江戸時代に端を発する伝統的な織物です。今回は長年肌着を作られてきた会社、steteco.comさんとのコラボレーション。「一年を通して楽しめるデニムを」という思いで、開発された生地です。ロープ染色の糸を使用し、緯糸に強撚糸を入れ織り上げ、高島で加工しています。デニムちぢみMONPEです。
※インディゴ染料を使用しています。着用時の摩擦による色移りのご注意と大洗濯の単独洗いをお願いします。
Super light Denim Chijimi MONPE
Takashima Chijimi is a traditional textile dating from the Edo Period, known for its distinctive crepe wrinkle. This is a collaboration MONPE with steteco.com, a company that has been specializing in inner wear clothes. The textile uses rope dyed yarn, and hard twisted yarn in the weft, to make a denim “chijimi” MONPE that is comfortable all season.
※The fabric is indigo dyed. Colors may stain other clothes due to rubbing. Please wash separately.
