ゆらりと舞う蝶をかすりで表現
絣（かすり）は先染めで模様を生み出すのが特徴です。織る前の糸を括って染めて解いて、白く残ったところが柄になり、独特のかすれた模様になります。こちらのMONPEは、たて糸を括りで染め分けて柄をつくる「経絣（たてがすり）」の技法で、宙舞う蝶を表現しています。ヨコ糸にスラブ糸を使用し凹凸感がある為、肌にまとわりつきにくいのも特徴です。

Kasuri is characterized by creating patterns through yarn dyeing. Before weaving, the threads are tied together, dyed, and unraveled, and the remaining white becomes the pattern, creating a unique faded pattern.
