福田織物とのコラボMONPEは、ふんわりとした柔らかさがあります。この柔らかさは、遠州コーデュロイの生産工程の特徴である豊富な水で何度も揉み洗うことで生まれます。福田織物では、この風合いを活かすために、織りの密度やタテ糸のテンションなどを吟味。綿が持つ柔らかさを最大限に引き出しています。

Soft and fluffy texture with a smooth hand feel
This is a domestically made corduroy MONPE created in collaboration with Fukuda Orimono from the Enshu region of Shizuoka. The collaboration MONPE offers a wonderfully soft texture. This softness is achieved through the unique production process of Enshu corduroy, where the fabric is repeatedly washed and kneaded with abundant water. At Fukuda Orimono, factors such as weave density and warp yarn tension are carefully adjusted to maximize the natural softness of the cotton.
